At Definition, our desire is to help people be with Jesus, become like Jesus, and do what Jesus did. Core unpacks what that means and introduces you to the key beliefs, practices, values, and rhythms that shape us as a church.

But Core isn’t just about learning more about Definition. It’s about helping you discover your next step.

What is Core?

Every church has a way of thinking about what it means to follow Jesus and how we grow together as a church family. Core helps us get on the same page so that we can move in the same direction.

    The purpose, strategy, values, and passion points that shape Definition Church.

  2. How we follow Jesus

    What it looks like to be with Jesus, become like Jesus, and do what Jesus did.

  3. How transformation happens

    Practices and rhythms that help us become more like Jesus over time.

  4. Where you fit

    Opportunities to build relationships, use your gifts, and become part of the life of the church.

  5. What your next step can be

    Whether that’s joining a group, beginning to serve, choosing to get baptized, or something else, we will empower you to take another step in your relationship with Jesus.

You don’t need to have everything figured out before you come. Core is simply a place to learn more, ask questions, meet people, and begin identifying what moving forward looks like for you.

We Want to Help You Move Forward

Following Jesus was never meant to be a passive experience. We believe spiritual formation happens as we intentionally arrange our lives around Jesus. That means learning to be with Him, allowing Him to transform who we are, and joining Him in what He is doing in the world.

Core gives you a framework for that journey and connects you with the relationships and opportunities available at Definition Church to help you continue taking steps.

Do I have to sign up?
Registration is not required.

Do I have to be a Member/Partner to attend Core?
You do not have to be a member or partner to attend Core. Our heart is to help you grow, whether you decide to be a part of our church community or not.

Is childcare provided for Core?
Yes. Our Definition Kids teams would be honored to love on your children (Birth - 5th grade), while you are attending Core. Definition Kids is designed to provide each child with age-appropriate teachings about Jesus and the Bible.

How long is Core?
Core is designed to last 1 hour.

Is Core free?
Yes! There is no cost for Core or childcare and we’re happy to provide light snacks while you attend.
