The resurrection of Jesus is not just a story—it’s the foundation of our faith. Without it, everything collapses. With it, everything changes.
READ: 1 Corinthians 15:3–4, 12–14 –
“For I passed on to you as most important what I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the Twelve. … Now if Christ is proclaimed as raised from the dead, how can some of you say, ‘There is no resurrection of the dead’? If there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised; and if Christ has not been raised, then our proclamation is in vain, and so is your faith.”
DISCUSS: Why does the resurrection give us confidence that Jesus really is the Way, the Truth, and the Life? How does this strengthen your trust in Him today?

“Therefore we were buried with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, so we too may walk in newness of life.”
DISCUSS: What old identities or labels have you carried that Jesus has already put to death? What new identity is He calling you to live out today?

“When this corruptible body is clothed with incorruptibility, and this mortal body is clothed with immortality, then the saying that is written will take place: Death has been swallowed up in victory. Where, death, is your victory? Where, death, is your sting?”
DISCUSS: How does the resurrection give you strength to face suffering, grief, or loss? Where do you need to experience living hope right now?

Lord Jesus, thank You for rising from the dead and proving You are the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Thank You that Your resurrection gives us a new identity and a living hope. Help us to walk in newness of life, to hold tightly to hope in suffering, and to live as people who belong to You. Amen.
