Every miracle begins with a moment of faith. Today, as we prepare to commit to Build His House, we’re believing God for a miracle—not just for a building, but for lives changed, families restored, and a city reached with the gospel.

REVIEW: A miracle begins with a need.

READ: John 6:5–9 –
“When Jesus looked up and noticed a huge crowd coming toward him, he asked Philip, ‘Where will we buy bread so that these people can eat?’ He asked this to test him, for he himself knew what he was going to do. Philip answered him, ‘Two hundred denarii worth of bread wouldn’t be enough for each of them to have a little.’ One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, said to him, ‘There’s a boy here who has five barley loaves and two fish—but what are they for so many?’”

DISCUSS: What needs around you might God be preparing to meet through your obedience? How does recognizing a need create space for faith?

REVIEW: A miracle requires an act of faith.

READ: Hebrews 11:6 –
“Now without faith it is impossible to please God, since the one who draws near to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.”

DISCUSS: Why does faith always require risk? What step of faith might God be calling you to take as you give or serve?

REVIEW: A miracle displays the power of God.

READ: John 6:11–12 –
“Then Jesus took the loaves, and after giving thanks he distributed them to those who were seated—so also with the fish, as much as they wanted. When they were full, he told his disciples, ‘Collect the leftovers so that nothing is wasted.’”

DISCUSS: How has God shown His power in your life or in our church’s story? What happens when we trust Him with what feels too small?

REVIEW: A miracle glorifies God and blesses people.

READ: Matthew 5:16 –
“In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.”

DISCUSS: How does generosity glorify God and bless people? What would it look like for our city to say, “Surely God is on the move”?

ASK

What kind of miracle are you asking God to do—through your life, your faith, and your commitment?

PRAY

Father, thank You for inviting us into Your story. Thank You for every miracle You’ve done and for the ones still to come. Grow our faith, stretch our hearts, and use our generosity to build Your house and reach our city. We trust You to multiply what we give for Your glory and the good of others. Amen.

INVITATION TO RESPOND

This week, take a step of faith and be part of the miracle:

  • See the need: Ask God to open your eyes to how He wants to use you.
  • Take a step of faith: Make your Build His House pledge and bring your first gift with confidence.
  • Trust His power: Believe that God can multiply your obedience beyond what you can see.
  • Give God glory: Celebrate what He’s already done and what’s still ahead.
  • Bless others: Remember—every miracle God does in you is meant to reach someone else.

Miracles always begin with a need, require faith, display God’s power, and glorify His name. Today, we bring our gifts, our faith, and our hearts—believing that the best is yet to come.
