The Power of Unity

As we step into this next season of growth and faith—locally and globally—one thing matters more than ever: unity. Nothing threatens the work of God more than division, and nothing strengthens it more than love, humility, and oneness in Christ. When we stay united around Jesus, His Spirit flows freely through us and into our city.

REVIEW: Unity is delightful.

DISCUSS: Why is unity so attractive and life-giving in a church or team? How can we protect that sense of love and joy among each other?

REVIEW: Unity is spiritual.

READ: Ephesians 4:3 –
“Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.”

DISCUSS: What does it look like to “make every effort” for unity? How can you personally cultivate peace and trust among our staff and leaders?

REVIEW: Unity is refreshing.

READ: Philippians 2:2 –
“Then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind.”

DISCUSS: When have you experienced unity that refreshed your spirit? How can we create that same environment for others?

“For there the Lord has commanded the blessing—life forevermore.”

DISCUSS: Why do you think God commands His blessing where there is unity? What could that blessing look like for our church in this season?

What is one practical step you can take this week to build or protect unity in your team, your ministry, or your relationships?

PRAY

Father, thank You for the gift of unity. Thank You for placing us in one family, united by Your Spirit and mission. Help us to stay humble, protect each other, and build trust. Let Your anointing and blessing flow through our church and into our city as we move forward together. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

• Protect unity: If you’re hurt, talk directly. If others are attacked, defend them. Refuse gossip or division.
• Practice humility: Assume the best in one another and lead with grace and forgiveness.
• Pursue peace: Make every effort to live in harmony, knowing unity is the mark of maturity and love.
• Pray for our church: Ask God to bless our Hunter Hills and Horse Pen Creek campuses with unity and fruitfulness.
• Build together through generosity: Your giving to Build His House is an act of unity—fueling one mission, one church, one vision for our city.
  
  

Where God’s people stand united, He commands His blessing. Let’s guard that unity, walk in His Spirit, and see His favor overflow in our church, our teams, and our city.
