Following Jesus is not about having every question answered—it’s about taking a step of faith based on compelling evidence and discovering a relationship that transforms your life. The gospel is not just for a certain group of people—it is for everyone, and it is rooted in grace.

REVIEW: What does it mean to be saved?

READ: Romans 10:13 –
“For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

DISCUSS: What does it mean to be “rescued” spiritually? Why do we often struggle to admit that we need saving?

REVIEW: What is grace?

READ: Ephesians 2:8–9 –
“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.”

DISCUSS: Why is it hard for people to accept that grace is undeserved and unearned? How does grace both save us and begin to change us?

REVIEW: How can I receive God’s grace?

READ: Romans 10:9 –
“If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”

DISCUSS: Which step is most challenging for you—admitting your need, asking for help, or trusting Jesus as Lord? What might it look like to fully trust Him with your life?

ASK

Are you ready to take a step of faith and begin—or deepen—your relationship with Jesus?

PRAY

Jesus, thank You for loving us and offering us grace that we do not deserve. Help us to admit our need, to call out to You for help, and to trust You with our lives. Give us the courage to take a step of faith and follow You. Amen.

INVITATION TO RESPOND

This week, take a real and personal step toward Jesus:

  • Consider the evidence: Reflect on who Jesus is and what He has done.
  • Admit your need: Be honest with God about where you’ve fallen short.
  • Ask for help: Call out to Jesus in prayer—He hears you.
  • Choose to trust Him: Begin following Jesus in your decisions, priorities, and daily life.
  • Take a next step: Tell someone, get baptized, join a group, or come back and keep exploring faith.

You don’t need perfect proof—you need a willing heart. Take a step of faith, and you will begin a journey that exceeds every expectation.
