Life in the Spirit
Dr. [Your Name]
We all want a full life—healthy relationships, purpose, peace, joy, and freedom. Scripture calls this life in the Spirit. It is not something we manufacture, but something God forms in us as we learn to walk with Him daily.
READ: Genesis 2:18
“The LORD God said, ‘It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.’”
DISCUSS: How are your closest relationships shaping who you are becoming? Where might God be inviting you to pursue deeper, healthier connection instead of isolation?
READ: 1 Corinthians 12:4–7
“There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work. Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good.”
DISCUSS: Where do you sense God inviting you to use your life for something bigger than yourself? What step could you take to move from consuming to contributing?
READ: 1 Corinthians 6:19–20
“Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.”
DISCUSS: How are your daily habits (rest, nutrition, activity, pace) helping or hindering your life with God? What is one change that would honor God with your body this week?
READ: 1 Thessalonians 5:16–18
“Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
DISCUSS: What is shaping your perspective right now—gratitude or frustration? How might intentionally practicing thankfulness begin to reshape your heart?
READ: Hebrews 13:5
“Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, ‘Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.’”
DISCUSS: What role does money play in your sense of security or stress? How is God inviting you to trust Him more deeply with your finances?
READ: Galatians 5:16
“So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.”
DISCUSS: Where are you experiencing tension between what you know is right and how you are living? What would it look like to walk in greater integrity and freedom?
Where is the Holy Spirit inviting you to align your life more fully with the life He is leading you into?
Holy Spirit, thank You for inviting us into a full and flourishing life. Reveal the areas where we are out of alignment, give us the courage to change, and lead us step by step into a life marked by health, purpose, gratitude, freedom, and deep connection with You and others. Amen.
This week, take clear and practical steps toward life in the Spirit:
Life in the Spirit is not accidental—it is formed through daily decisions to follow where God is leading.
